Why it matters
Understanding environmental risks, preparing appropriately and recognizing personal limitations are central to enjoying the outdoors responsibly. Most difficulties outdoors begin long before the moment they become serious — with a missed forecast, a late start or an unfamiliar route.
02

- Encouraging route planning, weather awareness and suitable equipment
